The Advanced Schedule is designed to irrigate a ‘Group’ of Sets in sequential operation. The combination of sets to irrigate are combined into a ‘Set Group’, as illustrated in the figure below.
To complete an Advanced Schedule, follow these steps:
- Create the Sets in ‘Manage Sets’, which are a group of zones to irrigate. A set may contain a single zone as well.
- Create a Set Group in ‘Manage Set Groups’ that you wish to irrigate sequentially. Add the Sets to the group to irrigate. You can change the order the sets are irrigated in by using the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons on the right.Go to ‘Control’ ‘Create Schedule’ and Select ‘Advanced’ schedule type.
- Go to ‘Control’ ‘Create Schedule’ and Select ‘Advanced’ schedule type.
- Enter the name of the schedule in the ‘Name’ box, and press ‘Create Schedule’.
- Select the newly created schedule in the Schedule List, select the Set Group for the irrigation, and choose ‘Add Selected’ to move the Group over to the ‘Set Groups In Schedule’ list.
- Select ‘Schedule Details’ to finish the schedule timing and details of irrigation.
(Figure 12) - At the top of the screen, select the proper ‘Start Date’, ‘End Date’ and Day Frequency Type: Every day, Every Second Day, Every Third Day, or Custom Days of Week.
- At the bottom of the screen type in the Total Duration of irrigation for each set, in the example below we want to irrigate the two sets beginning at 08:00 with two 30 minute cycles. Therefore, the Total Duration is 60 minutes, and the Cycle Time is 30 minutes; the Off Time automatically fills in with the proper time to irrigate non-stop, sequentially.
- Pressing ‘Save’ saves the schedule, and the schedule details are displayed, such as ‘Start Time’, ‘End Time’, ‘Total Duration’ for the full schedule. Also, for each set the ‘Start Time’, ‘End Time’, ‘Duration’, ‘Cycle’ and ‘Off Time’ are displayed next to the set.
- Pressing the ‘Preview’ button will show a visual chart of the current schedule.
- Pressing the ‘Save and Publish’ button will save any changes and publish (download) the schedule to the controller.
- The schedule can also be Published to the controller via the ‘Control’ ‘Schedule Activation’ page.
