Advanced Schedule: A schedule type for activating a group of sets in rotation along a repeated pattern. The timing of each set is identical.
Basic Schedule: A schedule type that includes Zone, Set, and Pump Schedules. Up to five start times, or events, may be set for each day. These can then be set to run daily, every second day, every third day, or specific days of the week.
Manage Pumps: Setup and manage your pumps on the “manage pumps” page and enter information about your pump which will then be used as reference in setting up your sets.
Manage Schedules: Create schedules and populate the schedule with set groups.
Manage Set Groups: Grouping sets allows a schedule to stagger irrigation on time per set.
Manage Sets: A group of zones. Each valve of the zone within the set is intended to operate at the same time.
Manage Zones: This screen allows you to create, manage and geofence zones. This page requires information about individual zones.
Monitored Values: A set of parameters which can be used to activate a schedule based on the behavior of a measured variable, or sensor measurement.
Publish: Send a completed schedule file from the EMC cloud platform to the corresponding irrigation control device. If a set or set group spans multiple control stations, EMC will send the corresponding schedule files to all control devices.
Pulse: A fixed cycle of irrigation events to be run over the course of a day.
Pumps: A device that moves fluids or sometimes slurries by mechanical action. Typically, a configured Pump will supply fluid to a configured Zone by way of valve.
Schedule: A schedule is a group of time based parameters constructed by EMC, and sent to an irrigation controller to operate on those parameter by means of Publishing.
Schedule Activation: This screen allows you to publish and unpublish your schedules to your control stations.
Set Groups: Grouping of multiple sets allow a set’s operation to be staggered on a timer. For example, it would be possible for a schedule to turn on Set 1 for 30 minutes, turn it off and then turn on Set 2 for 30min, etc. When multiple groups are in a schedule the schedule will first irrigate the sets in the first group and then moves to the next. Each set must still be a member of a group in order to schedule the set even though it may be the only set in the group.
Sets: A group of zones. Each valve of the zone within the set is intended to operate at the same time.
Unpublish: EMC will remove the selected schedule from the controller.
Zone Geofence: This allows you to map out your irrigation zones on a map that will then be used as a reference when managing your zone status.
Zones: An irrigated area controlled by one valve.
