On first run of the application, the user will be presented with a screen to Login or Sign Up.

1. All new users should start with “Sign Up”

2. After clicking “Sign Up”, the user will be presented with a screen that asks whether the user wants to “Create Company” or “Join Company”.  To create a new company within Downtime Pro, click the “Create” button.

3. The next 2 screens in the wizard are data input for you as the initial user and the company.

  • You as the initial user: Enter your first and last names, email address, password and confirm the password. Note, Downtime Pro requires a complex password. Password complexity rules are 8 character minimum which includes 3 of the following (Upper-case, Lower-case, Number, Special symbol). After inputting user data, Click Next
  • Company: Enter the name of the company and the default language for the company.  Downtime Pro currently supports English-American and Spanish-Mexico.  In the future, other languages may be added as requested. After a default language is selected, you can choose to enable a secondary language or not by enabling/disabling the radio button for each available secondary language.  After completing this page, click next.

4. After clicking next, the screen will show some activity as the app validates your inputs, and then creates the company, the first user and attaches the user to the company.  If there are errors, you will be sent back input screens with some messages indicating what inputs have errors.  If so, correct your errors and work through the wizard again until the creation is successful.  Upon a successful company and user creation, you will see this screen:

5. Congratulations!   You’ve now created a new company within Downtime Pro!  Press the Login button to exit the application and log in as an authenticated user.

6. After restarting the application, you will be presented with the same Login or Signup screen as step 1.  This time, press Login.

7. You should be presented with a dialog informing you that Downtime Pro wants to use b2clogin.com to Sign in.

8. Press Continue to continue to the authentication screen.  Enter your credentials and click the Sign-in button to enter Downtime Pro.
